Why do the Tea Party candidates make slanderous statements with no proof so often?

Anti-intellectualism and ignorance is considered a strong virtue in the Tea Klan. If Glenn Beckkk, Limpballs, Klannity, Weiner, Faux Noise etc... didn't vouch for something they will not even consider the facts even when it is proven right in front of their faces. They'll continue to believe the lie.
