Letter of intent cutting salary?

What does your contract say and when does it end? Those are important facts omitted here. If your contract as principal is ending then your have no recourse to demand the same pay while being demoted fo the teaching job next year. You either accept or decline the demotion and pay cut. What happened in the past has no bearing on you and your contract.
