Help! I feel so guilty for quitting my job?

okay so I work in a restaurant as a waitress, recently the only manager left, and as a result the restaurant is being run completely by the owner. Now, I won't say he is a bad man. But he has a tendency to yell, and can get very abusive. If you stuff up an order, he will send someone to tell you to meet him out the back of the restaurant where he will cuss and insult you. The chefs get the grunt of it but the waitresses are always being watched and yelled at also. As well as that, we have to tell customers that want to pay in cash to pay at the register not through the waitress. This is so any spare change is put into a tip box, not given to the waitress. the box gets a lot on money put into it. in 12 months working there I have not seen a cent. So last week I realised the pressure of this job was affecting my school work. I am finishing school and I really need to do the best I can. So I gave my two weeks. I didn't realise it, but that day another waitress and a bartender quit. This seems to have spurred a mass exodus, and a further two waitresses and a chef have quit. he was clearly stressed about it, little does he know that two more waitresses are quitting, without notice! I feel bad because I know I can get another job, but this is this man's livelihood, and I don't want to be part of the reason things go wrong for him. what is the right thing to do? He now has a total of 4 wait staff and a bartender... And we are a busy place. Should I offer to work every day till my notice is up? Should I stay on? Or does he not deserve it? Also do you think he will give me a bad reference for leaving the same time as everyone else and leaving him kind of screwed?

So i looooooove reading books :) i am hoping on getting a kindle or some eReader but anyways, for now im reading the old fashion way. I want to read some good books and i need help with finding them. I love the "Perfect Chemestry" series by Simone Elkeles (sorry if i spelt the last name wrong) and i love the "Hush Hush" series by Becca Fitzpatrick. I dont really like books that are about real events like a history book. I like books that are in depth, and very vivid and feel like there is a movie playing in your mind. I can read young adult books, as you can tell by perfect chemestry :) but i have read the twilight series and loved it but i dont really want to read any books about vampires :) please help, thank you!

There's a difference between asking individual peers if they had a problem with a teacher and posting public flyers implying that the teacher is unfair. Neighbor filmed me on my property, legal?

I've had problems with this person and his wife over the last 3 years that I've lived next door to them. Help! I feel so guilty for quitting my job?

okay so I work in a restaurant as a waitress, recently the only manager left, and as a result the restaurant is being run completely by the owner. Now, I won't say he is a bad man. But he has a tendency to yell, and can get very abusive. If you stuff up an order, he will send someone to tell you to meet him out the back of the restaurant where he will cuss and insult you. The chefs get the grunt of it but the waitresses are always being watched and yelled at also. As well as that, we have to tell customers that want to pay in cash to pay at the register not through the waitress. This is so any spare change is put into a tip box, not given to the waitress. the box gets a lot on money put into it. in 12 months working there I have not seen a cent. So last week I realised the pressure of this job was affecting my school work. I am finishing school and I really need to do the best I can. So I gave my two weeks. I didn't realise it, but that day another waitress and a bartender quit. Card value is VERY different based on exactly what you have. I would seperate yours based on team -or- player. I would also look closely on certain stars that could be worth a lot more than 10 cents each. (i.e. Jordan, Kobe, Jeter.) It is really difficult to give you a for sure answer on how to sell based on what you have. My only advice is to seperate them into lots of players and teams you think would sell. If you think they are junk, they probably wont sell. You could also try craigslist and list them all for 1 price, see if anyone nibbles. HR assured me they cleared it up. Well now 7 months later, I am convinced that they are slandering me and am unsure what is in my HR file. I have had numerous successful interviews, and even a verbal offer, then suddenly, after a reference check, the companies disappear and won't give me the time of day. I was even flown out to California to meet with a company, which went very well. However, soon afterwards, I was given a very polite f-you. This was enough time afterwards to check my references. I have also been contacted by three other hospitals in the area for positions, only to have them refuse to talk to me when I return their call, which was normally enough time for them to call my old hospital. What do I need to do to prove slander, defamation and breach of contract? I have already caught them lying twice, I have no doubt they are doing something unethical again.

I want to be an officer in the Navy. I want to be a computer programmer within it. I'm really trying to get into Anapolis or the Scholarship but I don't think I will. I am worried that if I don't get the scholarship and go into the Navy as a comissioned Ensign I will not have enough money to pay back my student loans by the time my first enlistment is up (four years to pay it off but i'll probably serve more)? Schools I would be looking at would be Pitt, Penn State, and University of Arizona (approx. 20k/year). I don't want to sound like I'm only doing this for money. I have this two baby turtle, they are so cute and this expensive Beautiful rare beta yellow cost me $11.00 it had a flowing yellow fin soooo beautiful and 4 small shrimps 25 cent and two small frogs with plants, it was about two weeks. I turn to look at the Beautiful flowing yellow fin beta and there in horror was only the Beautiful yellow fin flowing, with no body! The turtles or monster eat the beta a week later I couldn't see the shrimp not one. The turtle had to have eaten them all left is the frogs, two small frogs, that been in there for months. One of the first questions I asked on this site was "What do you know about PayPal?" It isn't putting your life in danger as it is simply making sure that if there is ever a draft again, it will be fair. Just because you don't sign up for the SS now, doesn't mean you won't receive a letter asking why you didn't and requiring that you do. If you ever need any sort of government assistance, you can be turned away if you are not registered. To get federal loans, you must fill out the FAFSA and to do that, you must be registered with the SS. It's not a big deal as most likely there will not be a draft. If there is a draft, you will most likely not be drafted. If you are a full-time college student during the draft, you will not have to join the armed forces. Hope that helps.

A year ago I met someone who blew mind mind. We hit it off immediately and still have a great time when we are hanging. Minnesota Defamation lawsuit?

Another individual recently got me in to trouble with law enforcement. I have and have stated to acquaintances that I have no feelings of anger towards her, and simply wish to be left alone. However, I recently walked in to a building this individual was in, and they proceeded to get law enforcement contacted by claiming to others that I was planning on harming them. I have not dug deeper yet, but I have heard they claimed that I was intending to shoot them. Now, nothing could be further from the truth. I am contemplating filing a lawsuit on the grounds of defamation.
